I was recording and I noticed it sounded kinda weak like a bad tube in a given module..but all 4 sounded kinda crappy....the sound when tubes go bad. Spitty. Is there a tube in the RM4???
I see the tubes in the undividual modules..but is there one in the rm4 itself??? Anybody else go thru this or something like it?? Any help appreciatted.

If all modules are affected it's not likely that it's the tubes in the individual modules.
There are 3 tubes in the RM4 itself, you can try replacing them if you have spares.

But first, I'd suggest bridging the series loop with a patch cable, a dirty jack socket can also cause this the bypass on the loop to get a bit iffy. Also try both the front and rear input, for the same reason. If any of this solves it, the low-tech solution is to just plug in/out a jack in the offending jack socket a few times :D (actually cleaning it is best ofc. for the long term)
