SYN-50 Line Out ... post power section?

So I recently moved up from a SYN-1 to a SYN-50. Is the Line Out tapped post power section? In other words, when I send the Line Out signal to my DAW, should I be using a power amp simulation + speaker IR or just the speaker IR cause the SYN-50 is already giving its power amp mojo? Thanks!

Just ordered a SYN-50. Decisions await.

So I bought a SYN-50 today. Should arrive next week. 😎 In the lead-up to it, I tested my SYN-1 thru a number of different power sections: EL84 - Mesa/Boogie Mark V:25 EL34 - Fargen Olde 800 6L6 - Ampeg GVT-15H In the end, I was surprised at how well the "neutral" character of the 6L6 suited...

    SYN-50 + two SYN-2 together?

I assume that SYN-50 plus a single SYN-2 is no problem. So it got me thinking... Apart from the outlandish expense, would it be possible to chain two SYN-2's into a SYN-50 for a total of six channels? Also... I got a SYN-50 today. 😎

I'm in Burlington, ON, Canada. Shipping is really not much more than it would be for US tho.

Okay, I *was* on the fence about it - and the Pittbull is an amazing module - but the trade offer is solid for anyone who may be interested. Hit me up!

Kind of on the fence about it but would anyone be up to swap their Deliverance for my Pittbull? Mine includes thr original box and all the paperwork that came with it.

My amp shelf + SYN-1. Let's see yours!

Hey gang. Just finished re-wiring my amp rack, feeling pretty good about the results. It's a modest setup but varied enough that I gives me lots to work with. Synergy has been a game changer, of course. Personally, my favorite pairing is with the Ampeg GVT15H (6V6) which is full and clear...

So it looks like I blew up my SYN-1 :(

Problem solved! Seems my main guitar cable has a faulty connection. Just a few months old and used only in my home recording studio. Pretty clearly it's mechanical failure on the fancy pants "circuit breaker" plug: Planet Waves PW-AGL-15 D'Addario 15' Circuit Breaker Instrument Cable with...

So it looks like I blew up my SYN-1 :(

So kind of interesting! I plugged the SYN-1 back into the main amp that I use with it and for 3-5 minutes, it worked flawlessly! It almost had me thinking that I had somehow switched up the cables as @Module suggested. ...but soon after, the sound quickly became thin and raspy, then very...

So it looks like I blew up my SYN-1 :(

Fair point but did not swap cables from the Send/Return - it was working fine prior to swapping modules. I also tested with two other amps after things went screwy. Possible but unlikely that I reversed them both times. With that being said, this is the year that I've gone from "sometimes needs...

So it looks like I blew up my SYN-1 :(

Pretty certain I was going Pittbull to Savage but likely not due to anything related to the individual modules IMO.

So it looks like I blew up my SYN-1 :(

Thanks @Module Greatly appreciated. Timing for these things is never good but I've got vacay booked in two weeks and was really looking forward to finishing off some recording. There are other options of course, but was *really* looking forward to using a few Synergy modules. Agreed on the...

So it looks like I blew up my SYN-1 :(

Earlier this evening, I was swapping modules. The SYN-1 was running thru the loop of one of my amps. It seems that the Volume control on new module I was putting in was cranked up a bit - maybe halfway - and somehow, the LOW/HI toggle on the back for "To Amp" and "From Amp" was flipped to "HI"...
