V2 channel/eq switch problem
got a similar problem. it seems that the program-change commands are in wrong order in some midi-channels. you can try to change the midi-channel. could be that tubechannel without eq then works. could also be that another command does soemthing wrong. -

Just ordered the Archetype
Ok, stupid me thought "friend" meant that he lives near you. For me it was the youtube vid with "christians gear". I then also bought it without testing. It took me a while to get my tone-setting but now i can't imagine a situation that would need a tone that i can't do. The next amp i'll buy... -

it should come with a footswitch, mine did. if it's a friends warhead, then why not just ask him to test with the archetype? besides: always a got way to buy TONE-gear because of the LOOK. i do the same ... blue lights ... you know. ;-) (just kiddin) i read the poor reliability too but mine... -

V2 archetype on valvestate speakers???
First of all, thanks for the help Shinozoku! Meanwhile i have another (weird) idea. Lets assume, the valvestate works properly (or i use a comparable amp). If i use the slave-output of the V2 and go into the return of the effects-loop with the dry/wet knob on 100% wet, this should work, does... -

That was what i was guessing too but i've heard things like "Just keep the ohms correct. If you don't get too loud it will work with 100 watt-speakers." So with every info i get my dumbness grows. By the way: The speakers are G12T Celestions (8 ohms i guess) and the valvestate had 100 watts. -

Hello everyone, I just received my new V2 archetype und tried the mic-eliminator output direct in the micpreamp of my soundcard but that sounded ... well ... no soooo good. ;-) I also have a marshall valvestate 8280 with a broken ampsection but it still has the two speakers. So i am thinking...
