Tung, I like it a lot. It has better sustain now and a little more gain. It also has more clarity than before. I use several different guitars with (humbucking) pickups ranging from 8K -17.5K so that will have a lot to do with choosing the right module for lead. But the module still sounds...

When I'm going for a marshall lead I use a SL+ modded by Dave Friedman. For the more modern tone I use an XTC that Dave also modded, and occasionally a 1086 for de-tuned metal.

Is there any clips of Pete's 1086 mod that I can here if so I'd love to know where.
