This is a rare beast. I bought it from someone on this forum who bought it from Jeff. It's a Randall RM100 that belonged to Jeff Hilligan (Randall, Egnater). He did the dual channel mod to this amp so it can accept dual Egnater, Randall, and Synergy dual channel modules! I also heard he picked...
I think it's pretty good. Nothing to tweak. I cut the guitars on this song with Syn2 cab sim out to Focusrite. It was Protools. I used SLO and BE for the dirty guitars and the Bman on the clean parts. All cut on my laptop sitting on the couch. :P...
I really like the Synergy Bman. It's super versatile. Check out the Shawn Tubbs video YouTube. The Morgan AC is nice and punchy too.

Dang, I just bought a Plexi module too. Someone should grab that one. It's a Friedman design. It reminds me of the Plexi channel on my Friedman Smallbox. It's really nice. Some good prices here guys!
The BB/BE takes pedals like a champ. Not to make it harder on you, but check out the Bassman module too. It's really tweakable. You can get a nice mid gain tone on the b channel. It's my favorite clean module.
If you're using Midi CC, you need to use different midi channels for your Syn 2s. You can set them both on midi channel 1 if you're using PC but not CC.
I watched the video Rich. You're doing all the right things. Seems like maybe you got a bad midi board on the Syn 2. The only other thing I can think of trying is to send a program change(PC) instead of CC. That sends a preset number and that is where the press and hold button on the Syn 2...
There's a midi switch on the back of the Syn 2 for selecting the midi channel. It's probably set on Omni which receives data from any midi channel. You need to flip that switch to the right and then pick a midi channel like 2 on the rotary dial. You need a small screwdriver for that. After that...
It looks like there is a shared Midi cc message. A CC60 (value} command will trigger the “Overdub" on the Helix. That's also the Midi CC command for bypass on the Syn2. You would need to set the Helix and Syn2 on different midi channels. It's probably easier to put the Syn 2 on a different...
I use one of these https://www.amazon.com/Power-Conditioner-Mount-Switcher-Charging/dp/B01NBH6K9Y You can turn on **** individually and it has 2 usb ports to charge stuff. :D
The BB/BE is really good. The BB side is a really nice, fat clean tone. The BE side is that famous Friedman Brown Eye goodness. If you're looking for more of a mid gain on channel 2, check out the Bman. Those are my 2 favorites at the moment for the clean/dirty in one module thang.
