All I can add is that I recently met some friends at a rehearsal studio to jam for the first time in years. There was a Marshall DSL 100 and a Bugera. The Bugera sounded so much better. Maybe it was one of those fluke amps, 1 out of 1000 that just nail it. But, it was GOOD.

I would honestly say to buy a set of Seymour Duncan APH-1 Alnico II pros. They are cheaper than the Slash model, and in my opinion sound better. For fast playing, and a great price point, I am loving the Charvel Pro-Mods MIJ. I just got a USA made Charvel Tele style...it's a different beast, but also awesome for the speed.
