Hello: Sorry for the delay in getting back to all of you. I was moving, then had be be away for a week for business unexpectedly. Most of these things were just moved from my old house and are in a storage unit. I am going there today to get them and take pics. To be fair, I will respond...
I have a lot of interest in it that unfortunately I have not been able to follow up with. I was in the middle of a move when I posted this and now I’m traveling for work this week. I’m going to get to all of this when I get home this weekend. I’ll handle the sale in the order received.
It's not a high gain module but it gets pretty gainy. Around JCM 800 territory. It's more about the voicing on this one - big, warmer, fatter, so pushing too hard is not it's sweet spot.
Hello: I'm in the middle of a move and would to lighten my load, but this is not a fire sale. If you are interested in any of these, please let me know and I will respond with pics and more specifics:
1) Black palomino RM100 with MM transformer/choke, and the JF Fog Lifter. Gigged for about...
Its actually pretty easy to set up the MIDI switching. Are you using the editing software? Thats the best way to get to it.
In the patch where you have set up your effect go to the "Controllers" tab then look down at the section labeled "Midi Assign" Just select the Foot Switch Button you...
Hey Lunati -
I have a friend with a Voodoo Jose UG who wants to trade with you. I'll arrange every thing and give you the proper addresses to send to each other if you are interested. He's a good/solid guy. You'll have nothing to worry about in dealing with him.
Let me know...
Thanks,
Ron
Thats a tough one because of the pin format of the EL84. Other power tube types won't fit the sockets.
My own opinion of the EL84s (I have a RM22) is that they break up too early. I really have no idea how to improve the tone other than trying out several brands until you find a favorite.

The JJ 6v6s are supposed to be strong enough to handle the voltage of an RM50. I have read about lots of people using them on here.
You will probably not get enough of a volume drop for home use and you will notice a difference in the tone. You may or may not like it.
If you are not opposed to using a boost pedal any of them will work.
A lot of people feel like the Deluxe is "stiff". I had mine modded by VooDoo to their Twin mod. For me, the stock Deluxe was a little too bassy and it had a bit of a dead feel to it.
My Rm100 had an intermittant buzz for about a year. Fortunately it just stopped one day and has never returned.
When it was buzzing I could cycle the standby switch and the buzz would stop temporarily. Even the fasted flip of the switch would stop it.
Not sure if your's responds in a similar...
I used to have a SD Convertible too. Loved that amp!
I may have to give these things a try. I have been hooked on vintage tubes for a while so this would be a huge change for me.
Since they say you can use them in the PI position they must be balanced.
