I have run pedals in the serial loop of my RM 100 before. I used a Fulltone Choralflange, Guyatone MD-3 Delay, and T-Rex Room Mate reverb through there. I run my Retro-Sonic phaser and Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah up front.

I have a GCX Switcher too. The George L's straight ends actually work out better for this application simply because you have upper and lower rows of 1/4" jacks on the back of the GCX. If you use angled George L's, sometimes they interfere with the other row of jacks. Using the straight ends...

Something is not right with that module. My XTC can easily be run with the gain up to 2-3 o'clock witout much feedback problems.

XTC is my favorite distortion module whether it be for lead or rhythm.

Pete Turley's modded modules are awesome. I use his SL+ and XTC modded ones myself along with a stock Blackface in my RM100. I also own stock SL+ and XTC modules but have not used them much since recieving the modded ones from Pete. In fact I haven't used much of my other modules since then...

I guess its not really fair to comare it to the Axe Fx at at least three times the price then. My Axe Fx Ultra is here but haven't had time to sit down with it and try it out. At first I thought those fingerprint smudges were a sort of swirled, marble pattern and thought you came up with a new face plate :lol: I have a couple modded modules by Pete (SL+ and XTC) and they are great! Just gigged with them a couple nights ago 8)

How much does this unit list and sell for, ballpark figure? Reason I'm asking is that if its an expensive unit, why not consider the Fractal Audio Axe-Fx instead? I've heard nothing but great reviews about it and picked up one myself but have not really messed with it yet. I will soon however...

Thanks RD/Steve, but thats how I do it every time we go to a gig. I haven't tried to reset it back at the band's practice place yet but at the last few gigs it gave me problems. Amp sounds fine though :)

For the past 3 gigs in a row when I step on the footswitch to change channels on my RM 100, sometimes it will respond and other times it won't. If I step on the cuurent active channel again THEN on the new channel then it works. What might be causing this? I'm thinking perhaps some clubs we play...

Just out of curiosity, what does it take to become a certified Randall service center? Maybe it is feasible for you guys to become certified and then get the schematics you need from Randall?
