If cost is an issue, get the ISP Decimator pedal. I was recommended those by this very board. I love it, I actually have 2 of them in my pedalboard right now, since I run 2 amps whenever possible. I picked these up used for about $100/each.

The Deluxe is a great clean module, that's my main clean sound too. I would buy the 1087 if you can get it for a good price. That thing will blow away both of your gain modules, I had a lot of success with my 1086. glad things worked out for you at the end.

i'm no being funny, I thought it has an internal battery. But there's a fuse on the MIDI board? Did not know that. Where would I be able to get something like that repair? I've been running it on a power supply since it blew. Thanks for your help.

You're absolutely right there. Kirk Hammett? yeah, he made a couple appearances with the KH. George Lynch? the guy changes gear like changing socks. At least the 1086 is a great module, I love mine.
