I am setting up two Syn-2s, and I have an effects unit. Do I run the effects unit cables to and from the master Syn-2, or to and from the slave Syn-2, or a lead out of one Syn-2 and back into the other Syn-2?

Yes, they are compatible, but you can't always get the most out of them. Any Synergy module that is Fender biased will work perfectly well e.g. TDLX. Any one that is Marshall biased will work less well - anything Friedman, Plexi etc. Any one that is 'boutique' biased, such as SLO, won't sound...

Have you set the bias switch inside the module?

I have the TDLX. Where does the OS compare in terms of gain and general tone? Can you set the channel volumes to levels equal to the other mods or is it all over the place? Is the lead tone comparable to any other module, or its own thing?

I am also interested. My SLO could do with one channel that is less full on.

The 800 is really cool. One channel gives you low-med gain crunch. The other channel gives more compressed higher gain. It covers a big range. It's perfect for nailing indie rock to GnR. I don't want another Marshall flavoured module because this one does a lot and if I got another I definitely...

I only use my RT2/50 as two fifty watt amps. I use Synergy modules and MTS modules. I put my Fender sounding modules through one side which has 6L6s, and my Marshalls through the other, which has EL34s. I was wondering whether I could further alter the Marshall side of my RT2 to sound more...
