Hi!! I have the same problem with my v2 archetype...but i think it's not a real problem,because solid state amps haven't a real standby circuit like a real tube amp...and i think the standby switch operate like a volume knob near the 0 point...but not too much near :D ,i think it's not a real...

Great work man, i think the best sound for my ear was EH-TUNG-MESA i think eh is rich armonically and this combination sound great with the other valves! for example i like EH-JJ-JJ but i prefer the E-T-M :D

Ah ok... i believe you of course :D But i know the album and the sound is really different..from a v2 in a 4x12 cab with vintage 30... i think we take too much reference in metal albums sound but it's bad..because the guitar sound is really ultra processed and with a lot of trick in...

I think arche enemy don't use V2 in Rise of the Tyrant... yes v2 is made for metal, i play metal,but i like mid freq and dislike the sterile modern sound without mid and really detuned.. :) In my randall V2 archetype i have checked the tubes,near the heatsink one Ruby 12ax7 HG and the oter two...

I think no one is interested in this fucking brutal amps :D have connect the V2 in a electric socket with a good ground?? I think your pedal have some issue with the ground... (false electric contact inside) what do you think about the sound of your new amp?

I think something go in resonance, there are some frequencies you have try to eliminate with the eq., i think you have a bad setting in your amp, or try to open the cabinet and tight the loose speaker...
