No worries, guys. I appreciate the concern. It's been checked out over the past two years and it's just an internal cyst - nothing major. I had it drained a little over a year ago, changed my diet and things seemed to be going well. Over the summer I started noticing it more again and it really started messing with my hand movement. When my Dr. drained it she said next time she wants it removed. Well, looks like it's time. I'm holding out until after my 40th birthday celebration in Vegas late November. I'm doing Bruce's amp building class in early November as well. I was told I'll have VERY limited usage for 8-12 weeks post surgery.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words, but let's get back to module talk. My sap story can wait. My situation is far from tragic, just a pain in my butt (or hand, as it were).

Pics or it's a wart!

Ok that was in bad taste... Best wishes drew, cut that f****r out!
Also thanks for the kind words in the clips..it's all I have left in my musical life so any feedback is appreciated

Camerock switches are great depending in which guitar you play- makes it super adaptive. The module is a true masterpiece

lol. Nothing really to see, I'll let you feel it if we ever meet. It's pretty much under the two metacarpal bones pushing them up against the nerves and tendons, which is what is causing the pain and reduced movement.

Your clips either inspire or depress me, depending on my mood. **** good player, Ray. I always enjoy listening.

I used to have a cyst on my leg that kept erupting, and eventually went under the knife to get it out. I was glad to have done it, but of course, that's a picnic compared to getting something out of your hand.

Drew: A couple of years ago I had something similar on the dorsal part of my hand, its called a "ganglion" - a cyst coming from joint fluid between the bones in the hand. I had it removed through surgery and that's that, no recurring problems. Best thing (I asked the physician) - it isn't an indicator of age :D

Since I'm ordering a dual eggie camerock I have to have one of the channels hardwired to a specific gain style (while the other ch is controlled by the 3 way gain style switch). I guess yours have the same structure.
Which gain style have you hardwired, ie which one do you prefer and why? :?:

So the module is very versitile, but also super sensitive when tweaking it.
In short, yes. :D

That's exactly the case with the dual eggie, one channel must be hardwired. For CH B, I chose "full on"; the most/heaviest gain, saturation, drive. I was very happy with that because the switches have nothing to do with it (dial and go). In my eyes, that's CCV. I much prefer CH A with the Bright 1 switch centered. I'm very happy with it now that my dumb*ss found that - only took a couple months and a few hours of playing it. :?

Just to make sure the language barrier isn't misleading me here (pretty usable excuse sometimes btw :) ) you mean you've hardwired the B-channel to the highest clipping level/lowest volume gain style option? Do you feel that option is the one is most true to the CCV gain style options? :?:

Yes! Thankfully, the volume loss is corrected in the hardwire! There is SEVERE volume loss in the gain structure in CH A. Keep that in mind.

That's interesting. I'll have to play more with that setting and see what comes...I kinda always wrote if off because I found my happy place in the standard (lowest clipping) style. :D

Please and report back. Maybe mine has an issue because my volume loss is extreme. I expected that as it happens on the CCV, but on the module it's much more drastic. Thankfully, on CH A I use the lowest clipping as well.

The cliips sound amazing. Where do you buy these modules? I went to the Salvation mods website, but there was no store or buy options

send Salvation a pm here or email through his site...Camerock is one of the best mid to hi gain Plexi sounds ever
