I'm actually going to stop boosting once i find the right the right combo and pre-amp tubes. My other guitarist has a 5150 and he slays my Ultra XL without him boosting. :evil:

My RM100 has been flawless since the day i got it. I have 2 KT88's in v1 and v2, i have a Blue LED strip on top of the amp illuminating the Randall logo and no problems. Stuffs going to break. If it continuously breaks then get rid of it. Nothing is perfect. Tony H.

The amp tech at Chicago guitar and amp, put the KT88's in v1 and v4 for me. I told him to set the bias to 50ma for the KT88's but he said the frequency wave dirty so he set each differently but around there to make it look clean. Apparently the dirtiness would make it sound like **** and take...

Put it on the ESP forum they will gobble that **** up like crazy

Ive always been wanting to do a 1086....but i have an ultra XL that ive been trying to get Pete to gimme a price on so i can ship it off to him. Im assuming hes real busy. :(

I'd go with Blackface for cleans, and then a Pete modded Recto module for the rest. If you need a super brutal high gain module then get a Pete modded ultra XL

YEa this video is awesome to get you started...but there are a lot of tricks that people learn over the years. Like Adam D from killswitch, you KNOW when he's produced an album, he has a signature smashing tone on all the guitars. My dream is to get an album done by him

I sold it to insightibanez and it does sound that sick. A little sicker.

I had that problem when i tried that head at a practice but i narrowed it down to a preamp tube in my ultra module. Then it screamed and was awesome. Did they pack it well, i told them(UPS store) to put it in another box to make sure it was perfectly safe. Tony H.
