I feel the power amp has a lot to do with how KT88s feel. By far, my old VHT 2|90|2 played them the best. In a Randall RM100 they don't sound great, but can be matched with a pair of EL34s with pretty decent results. They sound better in in an Egnater MOD100 than in my previous Randall...

MTS has been on life support for almost 5 years now; in the form of the modders. Soon there will be no donor modules left and that will essentially be the cord being pulled from the wall and MTS being laid to rest. I have as much, if not more, invested in MTS as anyone. The above "facts"...

I tend to gravitate towards Ruby 12AX7AC7 HG+ or just plain old JJ EC883 S.

There are actually 14 new modules that Rob will be unveiling tomorrow. Pretty exciting.

I have heard the values on the stock boards vary so much that the end results will depend upon your stock board. That said, all my Egnater MOD series amps benefited greatly from this inexpensive and easy to install modification.

I can't answer for the seller, but I'm going to guess by the prices listed that they are not dual channel modules.

If you want to go modded, then yes. Mash-All could work. Grailtone is another option.

Looks excellent! I have an extra MOD50 headshell (since putting one chassis in a combo) and I've been thinking about duding it up.

I really like the Sovtek 12AX7 LPS in the PI. I also generally use a Ruby HG+ 12AX7 in V1. V2 I play with until I'm happy and varies in my Egnater modular between amps, (edited to add) but I honestly find little difference.

I have one for a MOD100, but I think the connectors are different.

Looks like a Jerry Cantrell Dirt to me. Not 100% though.
