Anyone out there using the SYN2 with a Helix that could help me with a MIDI question? It involves using the Helix to change channels in a dual module using a foot switch. thanks rick

The Synergy mods work in both slots on my MOD50. Guess I'm lucky?

My understanding is that you can't really utilize both sides of a dual module with the RM4. I thought I read that Rob can adapt the RM4s for use with the dualies. True?

I use mine with a Helix also. It has always been pretty straight forward.....get the mod I want, hold the button down til it flashes and voila! I did have to get my SYN 2 replaced too and it was one of the first ones out of the plant. First it had some bad fuses (they installed the wrong ones)...

Find out what amps they use and then see if there is a version of it here. Usually there is something close.

I use the SYN 2 in one of my Helix loops and then into an M50 head. The Helix is pretty amazing. So basically I have four SYN/JF mods (meaning 8 channels) and I switch between them with the Helix which switches FX if I want. BTW, what is the GP3?

I like the flexibility of the Dual mods. However, having owned (and still own) a lot of mods, the singles still sound best to me....hands down.

Rippershred. Are you putting each SYN2 in a separate loop in the Helix?

I own both the D Z and the VX30. Even though the clips sound alike, they are really different. The VX30 starts out really clean with that nice Vox chime and then goes to gritty with the gain around 10 or 11:00. The DrZ can almost get clean with a strat with low gain pickups but it is not even...

The first Vox mod I got was Rob's VoxLess which was a combintion of a Vox and a Matchless that you could go back and forth between them. It was nice and all but I have his newest mod, the VX30 and it is a much different animal. I am more than happy with it.
