The foglifters are pretty inexpensive and easy to install. So if you are on the fence about trying one I say go for it. It is easy enough to return the amp to stock by replacing the original board if you don't like the foglifter.

I think you are right. I have one of the very first RM100s and it was totally dark and not very "high fidelity" sounding until I installed the fog lifter.I also have one of the last RM100s and it doesn't need a fog lifter it sounds as good or better than the old RM100. With that being said I...
