sorry i should have been more specific. the overdrive channel is the louder one.

hey guys, ive got an RG50TC amp and i think there might be something wrong with the channel volumes on it. if i put both the clean and overdrive channels onto around 1/4 volume, one is significantly louder than the other. is this normal for an amp?

i had been wondering if hte EL34 tubes could be replaced with a different kind. how would the 6L6 sound differ to the original tubes?
