New to Randall interested in the T2

I agree!! I have a T2 I use in a power pop/alt situation and boy, does it deliver--the mid-sweep is a great feature to 'dial-in' your sound, for the most part--I run this thru a Marshall 1960 slant JCM900 cab loaded w/ 80-watt Celestions @ 4 ohms, it sound fabulous thru it

    T2 vs V2

I have a T2--and it's a very warm-sounding head, indeed!! The classic gain is ballsy, like a good, hot-rodded Marshall Plexi/JCM800--and it's more than enough for most power pop punk/hard rock/metal styles--I only use the 'boost' mode to beef-up solos for more sustain, but other than that, it's...

    The T2 matching cab?

the matching cabs for the T2/V2 are the XL-Series--check it out on the website for more info. As for me personally, it kills thru my Marshall 1960A slant cab--I run this thing 400 watts @ 4 ohms, I just love it!!

    RH300G3 Speaker Handling

you should be able to run both cabs @ 4OHMS, no problem--and since Crate wires it for 8 OHMS [at least the older cabs, LOL!!) you should have no problem running a single cab, too!!!

    Randall T2 video demo!

I agree--the vidoe, while informative, doesn't do it justice soundwise--when you hear it in front of your face--you'll dig it!! that's why I bought one last weekend, despite the video's poor sound!!!

    Randall T2 video demo!

the video doesn't really do much justice the the sound--you gotta hear it for yourself--it sounds nothing like the video!!! LOL!!!

    T2 & V2

I just recently bought the new T2 head to go w/ my Marsahll 1960 A slant 4x12 cabinet---this thing rips!!! the souund is very warm--not SS-sounding at all--the mid sweep controls help shapes the tone you're after--and most of all, the gaain in classic mode sounds and works great--the only time i...
