Randall Celestion G12-H100 Speakers...Who Has Them?

I was under the impression the the only difference is that the K100s have an extended bass response... I'm not positive. But anyway, my XLT100 cab is awesome and a great match for the V2/T2 series! Lots of thump and cleans sound great too.

    Randall isolation cabs?

Yeah should allow you to crank the thing pretty decently in an apartment or something. I know Ola Englund / Fearedse of youtube/Feared and Scarpoint bands used to use one in his. I'm not sure how well it attenuates the volume but it does help!

Randall RH100 vs. RH100 G2 What is the difference?

I'm not sure on the RH100's but the original RH200's had issues of over heating if you weren't careful lol.

    V2 studio recording

off the top of my head... Threat Signal's Under Reprisal was V2 (possibly Archetype) with a 6 string Jackson COW Dinky (Wolbers produced the album I believe). Also I assume Arkaea's one album was the V2 Archetype. Born of Osiris's A Higher Place was all V2 and Veil of Maya's Id was all...

    v2/t2 problems

Awesome man. I can't wait to get the chance to play live with my T2. I actually just joined a band as a bassist though, and I'm considering finding a nice 410 to pair up with a bass DI box going to the 400w of my T2's power section!

    Randall V2 Substitue Footswitch

I believe any programmable midi footswitch would work; like the behringer fcb1010 or tech 21 midi moose.

    v2/t2 problems

I say ease of maintenance for the V2 & T2's lack of power tubes because not everybody is capable or willing to bias their own amps. Most people have to take their tube amps to a tech to get biased with new power tubes. Also this means you have to pay for new power tubes every year or two...

    v2/t2 problems

I guess most would argue any popular high gain metal tube amp these days is better than the V2 / T2 amps but I still think they're underrated in the community. They generally don't have maintenance because there's no power tubes to replace or bias. I just love having both tube and SS benefits...

    v2/t2 problems

Yeah I pretty much know most of the T2 / V2 owners or have read their threads on amp forums across the web. 8) It's too bad this forum is such a dead zone. I try to check it every few days if not more but really the only activity I see is in the MTS section lol. I am pretty happy with...

    v2/t2 problems

Yes definitely dig the HG+ in my V2 as I've mentioned few weeks back. Yeah man this forum is just really slow anyways man. Most of the V2 / T2 owners don't frequent any Internet forums I guess :(

pick up swaps n cab scallywops

Nice dude. Always wanted to try my V2 or T2 with an Eminence cab or Vader cab. If you're still experimenting on tubes maybe try a Ruby 12ax7 HG+. I like the sound in my V2's v1 slot.

    Stupid Question of the Year...

they are not the same! different shielding or something. if you use an instrument cable into a cab at high volumes you could blow up the transformer in your amp! invest in a decent speaker cable they're not expensive! :!:

    v2 help

humm.. try using both the NS-2 and ISP? Decimator in front and just NS-2 in loop? I've never had any problems with the ISP choking notes too slow, only when I'm too close to the amp and there is feedback at louddd volumes.

    v2 help

I have a V2 and a T2. I use a regular ISP Decimator for both amps and there's no problem with the gate in front or in the loop. I keep the knob around -30 (12 o'clock ish). The only time I hear that little squeak when silencing notes is when I'm standing too close to the cabinet with the...
