Cover songs? Just think the SS does not sound as good as the Tube OD; looking for tips for improvement...

Does swapping out for new tubes really make a difference? If so any suggestions for new tubes? Can and or is this easy to do? I have only had my V2 for about a week, but I know it has been played by the likes of Michael Angelo Batio and maybe it will enhance my amps sound? Thanks guys!

I'm having the same problem. Found a good Rhythm sound out of the Tube OD channel, but the SS sucks! Any suggestion guys???

Sorry guys... I hate the SS Channel... absolutely garbage... I'm just about there as far as my tone with the Tube OD... About to pick up an ISP Decimator... and ad EMG's ZW for my Dean from hell. Amp sounds its best with EMG's. Any suggests for the SS Channel and or a lead sounds?? Wish it had...

What channel do you guys play your lead from? I think the overdrive channel absolutely sucks!!! I like the TUBE OD, but then what about a boosted lead sound? Any suggestions???

V2 is loud, but I can play at a combo level, even with a half stack...consider buying 2x12 with the V2 on top?
