I'm not sure the tube in the head/pre-amp does much in the way of gain...when I think about what you are saying I'm thinking less gain usually works but you probably already know/done this. You could always try a 5751 / 12AT7 but I've never done it....more to play with in the tone controls /...

This is a USED Egnater MOD50, it does work in all regards except there is a problem with switching circuit that needs diagnosis and fixing, when turned off standby it occasionally resets the channel. Offering this at a killer price because of the issue, you can have it shipped straight to you...

Does it sound any different if you use the +4/-10db level switch - assuming your Marshall has that? You should of course match the SYN1 send to that level also.

First production batches ran out? I recall some Synergy rep posting somewhere about a production delay and they were working to get back in stock ASAP. Synergy are likely to be the first place to have stock as they were when first launched.

Ugh, my bad it's the RED Channel.....Ch B. Blue Channel (A) sounds awesome, RED Channel has no EQ working on it...just GAIN/MASTER.

This module is cool but I have far too many Friedman modules and also Plexi style. $325 PayPal and shipped in US (PP gift if you like, save me a bit on this great price)

Man I've had it with the RED Channel (Ch B) on this module....so unreliable.
