I didn't know that about the strings. I use 9's on most of my guitars. Dunno if I want to put big strings on the strat. Owww my poor fingers. I just ordered a SD Texas Hot Antiquity for one of my charvels. That should help a little.

Has anyone ever done a Shur Badger module? Great amps. So clean and crisp and the gain really works more like a drive feature and the amp takes boosts especially well. Just wondering?

My old module sounded like it had more gain than an actual Bogner Shiva. I thought it did the EVH thing really well.

It used to be my go-to module. I loved the custom 3 and had tony build me a Custom3 ++ that killed it. Sadly, I sold it a few years ago. I wouldn't mind picking up another at some point.

I have a RM100C with a foglifter. It collects dust in my basement. I'd LOVE to get rid of it.

I played one once and really wasn't impressed. I did play it through headphones and I don't know if that was the reason, but I really didn't care for the kemper. FWIW. I still play my MTS stuff. Currently looking for a bloomy tubey fender and a Grailtone.
