One thing you can check... move the module to another slot. That'll indicate whether the problem is on the module itself or the slot it's in. (In the telco world we call that "froggin' a circuit") ;)

Just a thought, but have you tried different tubes?

I always run my mids around 3-4:00 or more... on any amp. That's just where the "heart and soul" of your tone is.

I'd like to see the blank SW2 on the modules used to change the mid boost frequency in the tone stack.

If it's a .01 uf cap, then your value is way to large. The module comes standard with .0022. You shouldn't need to go any higher than .0033. Were you intending to tighten up the low end? If so, you need to go .001, not .01. You are referring to C1 right? (C3 on most of the other modules)

There are 3 fuses on the RM100-A board (the PC board the power tubes are on) you could check. You'll have to remove the chassis from the box to get to them. Look on the left side for V1A - there's one (250mA?) fuse to the left and two larger fuses below. Hopefully it's just a blown fuse...

You can get a pack of 5 for $1.95 at Antique Electronic Supply From their menu - Lamps/Fuses/Holders, then Fuses. See the first listing. (1/4 AMP = 250mA)

That's how I'm currently using mine. :D I really like the Grail module, but right now I'm liking the XTC better.

I'm now running an integrated quad of Ruby 6L6's on the outer tubes, and JJ E34L's on the inner 2. Seems to be a "fuller" tone w/ more mid "bite."

Another follow up: The guy at Small Bear acknowledged their mistake and said he's shipping the correct LEDs. Funny thing is, I already ordered from Mouser, and received them a day ago. Mouser ships incredibly fast.

You mean trademark? Recta and Treadplate are both already trademarked by other companies. Mesa/Boogie owns the trademark on Recto.
