I'm really really curious how well the RM4, etc, works as a preamp into the effects return on the Bandit. Anyone tried it?

My RM50 combo sounds a lot more scooped eq-wise than I would like with the stock G12T-75. Has anyone successfully swapped it out for something else to get more midrange?

I've been using this lately. . 6v6 in the combo with the topboost or plexi module along with an rm100 head with el34 and a homebrew 1x12 cab with a greenback. Very very nice! Very spoiling. :) I don't know if it'll ever leave the house as a whole though.

I'm not using the Mr. Scary very much these days and wouldn't mind trying the XTC module. Anyone up for it?

Can you get replacements for these that aren't chrome skulls? It's bad enough that they are chrome skulls, it's really bad that they noses touch each other when you turn the knobs. :)

I want some more clarity with my SL+. I keep it at about 1 or 2 o'clock on the gain, and it's a bit mushy. Is the cap mod what I'm looking for to fix this?
