Had to play through a Marshall 1960 Standard Cab for a whole time with all my amps (Mesa Rec, Randall MTS, Peavey 6505) and I didnt like it at all ... perhaps my own opinion, but the marshalls aren't my cup of tea. I prefer oversized cabs and V30s.

hey julia, sounds interesting, will have to go further on this. another cool thing i found is recabinet. a software which allows you even to use your own tube preamp and then add it some cool modern cabinets via plugins. the examples are hot. www.recabi.net

hi, can anyone of you tell me, if the mic eliminator is a product by randall or is it another companies product that was just built in the cabinets? im looking for good possibilities to get a nice direct out from my amps but dont know which i should take, ... randall sounds most professional to...

I had an Tremoverb, too. it was all good, as long as it wasnt fooling around, staying at the technician every couple of months ... i was really disappointed ... so, my rm100 doesnt sound exactly like it, but in reference to the usability like tube change to the sound options it can offer, it was...

cant say anything on petes recto, but this guy seems to know how to dial his rectifier :)

i run the treble and presence extremely high, at about 3 o'clock ... unless i couldnt hear anything in the mix of the band ... :(

hey guys, anyone tried putting in some real Mesa tubes in the module? i think i have some still from my former single recto head ... may be an option??

Funny to say, but i tried my RM100 with the Randall XL V30 Cab and the whole amp sound was way brighter than with my Mesa Recto V30 Cab ... strange also.
