Synergy Diezel Herbert in MTS problem solved !

No need. They are totally separate. If you have a dual-channel capable amp (Eganter or modded Randall) and you do what I have described above you will have access to both channels of the Herbert module.

Synergy Diezel Herbert in MTS problem solved !

You're talking about two different things... The ability for the Randall amps to use both channels of a module is determinedly the MIDI switching circuit. The wiring is obviously there, are there are replacement board solutions for this. Using the Herbert module is all about voltage supply to...

Synergy Diezel Herbert in MTS problem solved !

OK, was finally able to get back at this. Short story... it works just fine. No additional noise or anything like that. I used the 15 VDC pos/neg power supply I listed above and fed it via the 17 VDC supply on the board. Wired it to back of the card connector positions "H" and "J" as Telmar...

Synergy Diezel Herbert in MTS problem solved !

Following up to my own questions... I posted this on the MTS FB group, but sharing here too. Anyone attempt to modify their RM100 or MOD 50 to be compatible with the Herbert Module. As far as I know that's the only Synergy module that's not backward compatible with other MTS chassis. I have...

Synergy Diezel Herbert in MTS problem solved !

Sorry, this is a little difficult for me to track, would you be willing to summarize? I have both Egnater and Randall module chassis and am trying to sort of what, if anything, can be done to accommodate the Synergy Herbert module. Can power be tapped or added to those amps to work with the...

    XTC Board Architecture

Yeah, that's the sense I'm getting, although I'm not sure what about the XTC circuit demands a unique board. I'm assuming the clean board has the tone stack before the gain stages. I don't know much about rectifiers. If I get my hands on a Brit board I'd do that one as well. It seems like it...

    XTC Board Architecture

Not sure if this is common knowledge or if anyone cares, but I find this kind of thing useful for DIY. The only Randall module I have is the XTC, so I'm not sure how informative this is for other modules/PCBs. Basically I've tried to highlight the signal components on the PCB by color coding...

    Panel Switches

Which brand/model of mini toggle switches do folks like for mounting to the face plate? I need to place a Mouser order and thought I'd grab a few SPST and DTDP switches to have on hand. Thanks much.
