Anyone know what the voltage value of the capacitors on the preamp modules pcb's ? And are they all the same value ?

Looking at the Plexi and SL+ , both black faceplate, one of the differences I see on the pcb is Plexi Gain knob is a 1M pot. The SL+ Gain knob is a 500K pot. Could anyone explain to me what difference this makes please ? Thanks.

Hi everyone. I saw a post for a mod which I did to my SL+. I changed 3 resistors; R1, R2, and R3 from 1/2 watt 470 ohms, to 1/2 watt 150 ohms. According to the post this mod would eliminate some "fizz" and noise. I did a really clean, careful job on this so I'm quite sure I didn't damage...

Hi everyone. I read a post that suggested changing the capacitor on the P.I. to 47 pf would give me more presence from the power amp. From what I can see, Tubedepot doesn't carry any pica caps. And I checked a couple different sites with no luck. Any ideas ? Thanx
