ok success at last,EL thanks for your help. it took deleting thr T2s pedal all together.the x3l now changes the T2 as well as everything i wanted so a good outcome. :D

im on it mate,still reading the x3 how too book thats the size of an old atlas lol

i understand exactly what your saying.just need to work out how to use the x3l to change channels on the t2 now.as said im looking into the gcx

yea the pod is a standard 5 pin,so that may be a little hard

thats one thing i have yet to try. forgive my noobness, what your saying is connect the T2 pedal to the X3L via the 7pin cable?

i wasnt suggesting you had.i was adding that i have ruled out a crappy midi cable.as far as a learn mode on the pod,no it does not.as for the other suggestion yes have tried no change so will pull the pod out all together and run various stomp boxs in its place to do what i am after,or i may go...

El_Thwatez, the X3L is in the T2S loop just for fx and very slight eqing.i use reverb and chorus and delay etc etc mainly for the t2s clean channel.my midi cables are also top quality and not on the cheap side

the noise is there even if i run just the amp with the pedal and nothing else in the loop so it must be the t2s pedal? i dunno

in my T2 i had 1 EH12at7 for the valve dynamic and 2 EH12ax7 and 1RUBY 12ax7. i now have a RUBY 12at7 in the vd[lol] a RUBY 12ax7 in v1 and 2 tung sol 12ax7s in v2 and 3.theres a major sound improvment imo :D

does anyone else have this problem? any work arounds or fixes its very loud and very annoying have tried the following-new 7 pin midi cabl[as supplied] disconected and reconected several times and have sprayed a small amount of contact spray. = no joy.whats going on here randall .i know a guy...

i have a very similar problem with my T2. the supplied pedal channel switches fine with the amp but theres a loud popping sound when i change channels. im running a pod X3LIVE in the T2s loop and via the midi thru and was under the impression that the T2 midi pedal would be able to change...

yes i really like it.works very well for my set up.i cant compare it to a ts9 or an 808 as i have never used one of them before but i cant complain.i also use a bad monkey once and a while as its quite good at getting different tones.i swap them out depending on my mood.the cab was an all day...

that amp i had trouble with is gone and i now have new replacement T2. but to answer your Q yes i did check it and it was fine so i think it mite have been a fuse for the tube/tubeboard.

i think its got tons of gain out of the box but i did replace the EH tubes first with a set of rubys and it sounded much better and then with a set of tung sols and wham even better tone and imo touch more gain.i did chane the EH 12at as well,but i left the ruby tube in there.

emg 707 for my jackson 7s and dimarzio evo7 are in my ibanez 7s
