Also, Dunlop just came out with a new string "Heavy Core" that is made for DROP D and DROP C#.. see if your local store has some, and they may be the right thing for you.. they use a larger core to add tension, so you can drop tune with minimal adjustment.

I got a few of them in the store... I think they are fantastic... was going to keep the 503 but decided on the V2 so that I could be more equivelent to the Powerball that my rythm player uses the tone was great from both tho...

I agree, they are definately the Top 40's golden child for "rock music" they get the best producers, and engineers and what not.. so it sells LOTS of albums and makes LOTS of money for a lot of people. I just cant stand it. I dont know why.. they are the hair metal of the day and I love...

I dont really think that they are close enough in sound to compare. I was goofin with them this mornin at the store, I think they both do similar things, but I dont think they are anything alike, if that makes sense.. the ENGL has its own sound, and the T2/V2 has its own.. they both overlap...

we just got ours in. I think funky monkey will agree, this thing is pretty cool. it comes with a midi foot controller 1-4 5-8 9-12 so if you miss the one you want, you are only 3 away... I just got the one for store demo Randall hit a home run with this one. Nick

no, I actually think they suck. I dont think the songs are any good. I dont think the guitar work is any good. I think the best musician in the band is the bass player... So, I think... . they suck.
