Hey guys im trying to get this rm50 headshell shipped to a forumite. I hace removed the 6 mounting screws on the top of the amp, and its loose in there but i cant get it to come out. Any tips?

I just got a JF ultraxl, the noise gate is a no brainer, just flip the switch, I've not noticed any REAL diffence in the tone, even at high volumes. If you can get all the options I would reccomend that as well, I love this thing.

Yup, the balckface cleans are truly hard to beat by any high gainer clean channel, IMO. Sounds great completely dry, but loves delay and reverb.

Happy 2010, got my module back today! Whatever was wrong with the module is fixed and then some, this is exactly what I was hoping it would be! I hate to be to hasty and rant and rave about something I just got, but this is whole new level of clarity and response for me, much higher sound...

Update from Rob, apparently someone had attempted a mod to this thing before, maybe they were happy with the results, but this would explain it sounding completely different than the stock module.

That is why I'm confused with it, what could make mine sound so different than the rest of the ultraxls? This is not a subtle difference, its sounds so band my buddy with a crate said it sounded like ****.
