Lynch box has 3 Tungsol 12ax7 preamp tubes and 2 EH 6L6 power tubes in it. Power tube closest to phase inverter red plates once in a while, and man can I hear it thru the speaker when it does. Other power tube is fine. Bias set at 30mv. Should I try new tubes? Are the Tungsol preamp tubes...

The combo has the Super V Eminence. I also run a Nuno NB King cab off of it with Celetion Greenbacks in it. Ohms set at 4. No matter what preamp tubes I put in it, still not as bright as I want it. Thanks.

Looking for FX unit that doesn't color the amps original sound. I have a Line 6 M9 unit, but it does color my sound, and it also boosts the volume level with some fx and cuts the volume level with othe fx. I haven't ruled out going with the pedal route, but just didn't know what wouldn't color...

It did pop without the M9 connected. After the preamp tube change, it didn't pop. I played for about an hour after that. I will put more time into playing tomorrow and see what happens.

Let me start by saying I purchased the rm50 palamino combo before the Lynch Box combo. It was defective, so had to send it back. Before I sent it back, I played it for about a month. WAY more bottom end. It had the 6L6's in it, and Celestion speaker.

I have a defective speaker cable on my Lynch Box. The tip came unsoldered, but temporarily resoldered it. It also seems that the boot on the cable is barely letting the jack plug all the way in causing the slighest touch to the jack to short the speaker out. How do I get a new one? Thanks.
