I thought I recall that someone mentioned you could buy an Egnater M4 without any modules. I inquired to Indoor Storm about it and they said they couldn't sell them with less than 2 modules. Is there another source for them?

I'm looking for a top boost module- don't really want to spend $200 for one. Anyone have one they'd like to sell or trade?

Blackface was sold with another module... I was hoping to sell the whole rig, but that never transpired. Someone wanted 3 modules, and so a deal was made. Unfortunately, something happened where they only wanted 2, so I still have the XTC (and the modern)

I can take pictures if you like. It is in exceptional condition, though. All of the modules except the modern are spoken for, it looks like. Maybe the XTC could fall through.

I managed to get one of those powerblocks. It is surprisingly cool, mostly because of what it costs. one thing a lot of people seem to miss is the "always-on" speaker simulator, which will make most things sound dead that are run into it... even its own preamp. You can loop out from the FX...

My RM100 is still for sale... Metal front, mint condition with footswitch. $500 plus actual shipping, USA only. paypal or personal check (with clearing delay). The unit works great, its just more amp than I need and I'm still building my own amps. I bought this just to check it out.

How about running with just a pair of 6v6's and adjusting the impedance to compensate? I'm guessing 20 watts or so, though the amp will still weigh as much as your drummer.

35 watts is not the max plate dissipation of a KT88. It is 42 watts. You'd be safer at 35 watts, obviously, but the tone may or may not suffer. I wonder how much current the monster power transformer in the RM100 can supply. A quad of KT88's would be at least 200ma, with is a bit of juice...
