Looking to run one of the above through a tube power amp. If you have owned more than one of the units above and have run it as a preamp, comment on why you have the one you have and how it sounds in the mix of a band. I plan on using a separate eq at the same time also.

Are there any mods you can make to a blackface to make it more clean or possibly even go the other way with it and have a high gain fender module?

Good to know. Anomaly, how did you like running your pod through the amp and did you ever use it in a band setting? I am assuming you turned the cab setting off, how are the amp models and fx's?

I am currently away from my amp so I can't try this myself but my question is if you have a preamp/amp modeler plugged into the return of the loop, will the power section of the amp work with no modules installed?

I did this and all was good but if I plug any pedal into the loop the problem continues and it also happens in the parallel loop. Any thoughts?

double check wire connections, if its the same as it was before. Check power with a meter and continuity from send and return. Is there a ground?

Does anyone happen to know what size the screws are for the tube retainers. My rm50 is missing them from the PO and Im putting kt88's in with the spring retainers. Just want to avoid buying a bunch to guess if I can. Thanks.

Which tube of the 3 is the phase inverter? Also, on the other two is it standard practice to replace them with regular 12ax7's and the phase inverter is balanced? Thanks.
