My rig had these same symptoms a few years ago. Turned out to be the volume pots in the power amp. Had them replaced & it fixed the problem completely. Could be worth checking.

No need to get combative over this. I was asking a question, hence the question mark at the end of my post. For the record, I'll be very grateful if the compatibility runs both directions.

Glad to know I'm not the only one doing this!! :lol: I tend to have about the same EQ settings as you do, with the exception of the Primate mod... I have the bass almost dimed on that one. For some reason, it's a little lacking in the bass department... but it hasn't really been a problem...

I'm assuming this means the new platform will accept old modules, but NOT the other way around (as in: old platform accepting new modules)? I tend to agree with this. I'm hopeful for a 4-module, 50-watt head with a 1U rack chassis... all in one. That would be a perfect fit for me. 8)

This would totally rock. Could we also have a head cabinet choice, such as a regular head cabinet & a one with a 1U rack slot built in?

For me, I've found that having the same modder's mods in one amp helps keep noise levels more consistant... I only have 1 donor left, & will have the same modder do the work. My other 3 modules really "hang" well together. So, whith that being said... I wish all of the modders would...

I just skimmed through this thread, so I appologize if someone has already mentioned this... the image in the video clip, looks like a PC motherboard... those look like PCI slots. Also, has anyone tried playing the audio backwards? It sounds like a backwards masking of a creepy vocal... :lol:

I also have a Mach X from Jaded Faith. I love this thing. It's high gain, but it's more of a smoother, vintage "Mark" high gain... if that makes sense. It's not like an Ubersonic/Super-Clean combination or anything... but it fills in the 2 tone-voids that I had, perfectly. :D

Same here! I'm really digging mine too. So cool to have a clean channel & a heavy channel. How do you have yours set? I've struggled a bit with the boost switches. Seems like when I boost the clean, the heavy side is outta whack... and vice-versa... I finally landed on a fairly flat EQ...
