    Well, I think we've just about got it down.. Just have to get the gain as high.. The tone is there but with the new circuit the gain isn't as much because we are trying to get it all in the module and not to have to touch the amp itself.. We are close though.. :wink:

Me and my Dad build tube amps and thought it would be fun to to try to turn a 1086 into an actual 6505 plus.. so far the problem is that 2 of the gain stages are in the head itself and without modding the head it is difficult to get the preamp exactly right..
