Does anyone have a good way to do this? I've been using various boosts and whatnot and while the tone is great, it does not really sound like an 800. Who's got the fool-proof and simple way to coax these tones out of this mod?

It is slightly Voxy at certain settings. It;s more in the Marshall camp than Vox. sort of Voxy Marshall. You are thinking of the Black Cat which is a Vox AC type amp. It's a great module, just not very Voxy. It has way more bottom end and a much different gain texture. EDIT: YOu asked...
