If you want to “true bypass” the Syn-2 just run a patch cable between “to amp in” and “from amp fx send”.

My stock RT2/50 sounds much more lively and organic than MDA RM100 I used to have. I experience pretty much the opposite of the blanket effect people talk about when using the power amp.

I use Syn 1 with Mark V25 and it sounds fantastic!

Surely you can just patch “to amp input” to “from amp fx send”. Just your levels will be off. Maybe patch in a clean boost or something?

I don't mind the prices, I just find it funny that a 1U two bay preamp and 1U 100W power amp are $200 cheaper than a two bay 50W head. I'm pretty sure it's going to be smaller, and definitely much more versatile package than the head.

I'll most likely sell mine after my Custom 3 is delivered.

I have a Torpedo Live as well as RT2/50 so I could do some testing. The point of Torpedo was not having to carry the RT2/50 around so I didn't really try them together. If I remember correctly I use OwnHammer impulses with the Torpedo power amp simulation and Rosen impulses without it.

I just found my RM4 has a bad signal leak to the main post fx outputs. Not sure if it's normal (shouldn't be!) but if you have the same problem you will get some phase issues even when using serial loop. This makes my "serial" loop pretty useless. If you confirm it is CH1 then you need to change GSP from omni to CH1 also.
