Are you looking for post fx only? as in delay, verb and some modulation and of course a cab sim. If so, it sounds correct to me.

Yea - mine is the same. It just takes some time to figure it out but it seems like they are interactive with each other. for example increasing the treble starts to cut the bass and stuff like that.

I agree ^ the buy in is a bit high. Module prices are fine but the syn1 and 2 and the amps are really high. It is what it is. I'm pretty happy with the T DLX and SLO but have to agree. I also wonder on the durability of these. had a few bad demo's and my SLO bass pot has gotten tighter too..

I used that nux one for awhile with my mfc 101 to switch channels on my friedman. It did the job once I got it programmed. Not easy but cheap and worked.

Funny I'm thinking of trying to trade my plexi module for the 800. I like the plexi but think the 800 might work better for my needs. Tried the Metroplex as well and it was a cool module but ultimately not what I was after. Good luck.

Currently been using a Power Station as my power amp and wondering what something EL34 might be like. Thinking of trying out the RT2 or just grabbing a good head to use everything with? Looking for your thoughts.

Yea I feel like a resonance/depth/density knob is a necessity with these setups. And do agree they are a bit high. None the less I'd love to try one out.

I got to try the HBE, not the BE but for me I just couldn't get a sound I liked out of it. Like so many others, I enjoy the SLO a lot. The BE probably has a better sound and could be pushed with a pedal/drive if needed. Order both from Sweetwater and send back what you don't like.

Has anyone succesfully run the syn straight into the fx return of a dual rec? So I know they have bad parallel loops, however for a backline in Dominican Republic are choices are dual recs or JCM 800. I'd like to not bring the synergy but our backline choices suck.

I love the SLO. Definitely keeping that one. The TDLX is awesome too. I ordered the bassman and AC as well. Decisions Decisions.

If you don't need stereo the Fryette Power Station works. Other options Mooer Tube Engine 20 watts mono coming out in april cheap VHT/Fryette 2/50/2 or 2/90/2 Randal RT 2 50 cool because one side can have el34's and 6L6 on the other. Mesa 2/90 2:50 or 20/20 Peavey makes some cheap ones out...

Yea the SW one I'd like to hear with the cab mic'ed up. I don't know why SW doesn't do that at NAMM.
