    Are The Synergy Heads Self-Biasing?

As a follow-up to myself, the SYN-30 is NOT self-biasing. B.A.D. reached out to me with the following info: "You need to rebias unless you use tubes with same numbers (if you use matching tubes using the numbers on top you shouldn't have to re-bias). The proper bias is 35mA" Just posting in...

    Are The Synergy Heads Self-Biasing?

Time for me to re-tube my SYN-30, does anyone know if they're fixed bias like a Mesa or I need to take it to my tech for re-biasing? Thanks!

BB/BE, OS and Savage modules in stock at Sweetwater

I agree. I found it to be way more tweaky and touchy than any of the other modules I own. Not that that's necessarily a negative, just the nature of this module. It also seems to require fairly heavy handed tweaks between single coils and humbuckers.

    Synergy OS Module Impressions

I've never owned, nor played any of the previous generation amps or modules. Interesting! I feel the tones are definitely usable on both channels, I would also say the character of the preamp favors volume over gain. It's loud, punchy, and mid-forward. New Synergy Owner: Questions, Comments & Complaints Insi

I think it sounds great! Considering it's brand new and not broken in, I'm really looking forward to how it sounds after a month or two. It's got plenty of bottom end that stays pretty tight and controlled with good high frequency extension that's not pokey or harsh. Could use a little more mids...

New Synergy Owner: Questions, Comments & Complaints Insi

Hello to all! I've been eyeballing the Synergy stuff for about a year now and finally pulled the trigger last week on a SYN-30 Combo, HBE, and SLO module. I also have a Dirty Shirley module that will arrive tomorrow. So far here's where I'm at: 1. I absolutely LOVE the SLO module. Everything...

    SYN-30

I just picked up a SYN30 combo yesterday. So far I have the HBE and SLO modules. The amp has a very, very pristine clean channel with a lot of headroom. The clean channel volume works fairly well, on par with the Friedman Runts if you e played them before. The two modules I mentioned sound ok at...
