I was wondering the same thing, although I do not have the same feeling about the Randall XTC module. I actually like Randall XTC. Not fizzy at all.

I didn't get along with the Judge MTS module, but I was able to dial in the Judge channel in the Randall LB103 is dead-on exact to the Synergy Friedman BE. It was so exact, that I had several people come over, and I was switching between the Synergy and the amp, and not one person ever...

It's the same way on my SYN-2, but it's manageable. If one of my old Randall modules has a slightly bent heat shield, I have to hold it down to get it in. I don't worry about it too much anymore, since I don't swap modules out while playing. If I have to swap them out, it's during down time.

Do you have a Foglifter+ installed in your amp? I've noticed that some modules have piercing highs with the NFB anywhere higher than 12 oclock. On some I have to do even lower.

I havent played the Egnater JTM45, but the Jaded Faith 59RR does an amazing version of the JTM.

I have the G-String, with 4 connectors like the NS-2, and it goes both before the SYN and in the loop. So, I guess the NS-2 would be the same.
