Has anyone tried a lower gain 12ax7 like a 5751 in the V1 slot of the COD to lower the gain? Thoughts...

I've read on the GEAR PAGE a while back that the Synergy modules don't fit in the Egnater Mod 50. Some clearance issues in one of the slots. Can someone confirm this? Thanks!

My Mod50 master volume sounds like it needs to be cleaned. When adjusting the volume it drops in volume and makes noise. Can it be cleaned with Deoxit or do I need to replace the pot?

I finally pulled the trigger and bought one. I've always been a fan of Bruce's stuff. I have a Renegade with matching 2x12, Rebel 20 and 1x12, Tweaker 15 and love each one for want they do. Now to add to the collection, the Mod50 with the T/D & SL2. I think this will be the last amp I'll buy...

I'm looking to buy a mod50 but was wondering how much difference is there in tone and feel to the RM50? Is the tone difference as dramatic as the price difference? Thanks!
