If the footswitch works fine and the G-system only switches the M4, the footswitch obviously sends program change on all midi channels (omni) and the G-systems does not :) Meaning, you need to send omni from the G-system, send program change on two selected midi channels or set the RT and M4 to...

I've got a dual ch M4, but I've kept these single ch modules around as I honestly like their sound a tad better. I'm a channel slut though, so these have been wrapped in plastic for a long time...need to let go now. Vox, Twin and Erect, ?190 each + shipping. Location Europe/Norway, but I can...

I've got the EG3/4 but have never tried any of the SL modules. Is the amount of gain pretty much the same in EG3/4 and SL2? Guitarzzan, what kinda mid thing is that....more mids? More honk? If you're familiar with frequencies could you describe what it has more/less of? Is the EG3/4 with the...

Only done one deal on here, with rickgk. Two modules all the way from Norway to Oz. Rickgk is on the great guy list, at least mine :wink:

It's not like the two tubes in the modules are a "pair" though, so find the bad one and hold on to the good one :wink:

I've got the single channel Twin and Vox modules up for sale. Lived in a studio only (No...not me, the modules). When I bought my M4 two years ago I got the dual ch version loaded with single ch modules. I have both versions now and the singles need to go, even though I actually think they sound...

I agree. Egnater stuff was a bit cheaper some time ago, before this monopoly.

They probably would :D The Palmer doesn't belong in that rack though, as I only use it for some silent recording now and then. Was just storing it down there at the time.

Yep, the gain staging is different so it'll sound different, but you're not cooking any power tubes :wink: I've found on my M4 that turning down the module's volume and instead raising the master (not power amp), results in a slightly clearer/brighter and less compressed sound.
