There's a definite difference between the T2 and V2. The T2 has a shorter, less complex signal process, so the sound is more pure. Think of it this way: the V2 is the successor to the VMAX, and the T2 the successor to the Titan. I am buying the T2, myself.

I think the Warhead, Cyclone, and Titan are SS amps with great reputations. The new Randall T2 and V2 are both $1,000+ and are both hybrid (solidstate+tube preamp). I've got my heart set on a T2 after hearing disappointing reviews of the RM100.
