I have a V2 that I'm selling. I bought it used back in January,this head is in brand new condition,works fine no problems. It has Groove Tubes in it from the previous owner(so I was told,never checked) and I will throw in 2 12ax7's and a 12at7 that are new,never been out of the boxes. Of course...

That may be true with punching in parts,but in a live situation the "noise,pop/click" is amplified thru the pa,doesn't sound to professional plus like I said before,for the price of this piece of gear,it shouldn't make any noise between channel switching.Just my thoughts. :D

The ohms are the important factor.They should ideally match(each cab having the same ohm rating). The V2 goes down to 2 ohms so you should be ok. If you run 2-16 ohm cabs,the load would be 8 ohms,2-8 ohms would be a 4 ohm load and 2-4's would be a 2 ohm load.Whew!! The V2 does it automatically...

Just wondering if anyone has any noise with the V2 going from the clean to the gain channels? When I switch between the two I get an annoying pop/click kinda sound,the louder the amp the worse it is. I'm kinda thinkin' it's in the MIDI part of the amp-any ideas?

If I were you,I'd buy a MIDI pedal,it'll solve all your problems when it comes to programming,just set them on the same channel,it's way easier than messing around with the pedal that comes with the head,I own a G Sharp and I emailed Randall and told them what I had and how was I to get it to...

I was told by a tech from Randall that the footswitch is pretty limited or some ****,I bought a MIDI pedal(Roland) and it works great,real simple!!

I own a V2 and run it thru 2 Fender MetalHead cabs(400 watts each),they are rated at 4 ohms which puts the amp at 2 ohms.It does it automatically and at 2 ohms it's rated at 500 watts.

Actually I bought a Rolls MIDI pedal and run it thru the V2 then into my G Sharp-it works like a dream!! Just match up the presets to the pedal and store the amp channels to whatever presets ya want and bam,seamless changes!! It's real simple with an after market pedal. :D :D

Anybody know how to program the midi on the V2? I am running a TC Electronic G sharp and I would like to be able to change presets when going to different amp channels,nothing fancy,just stupid changes! I can not for the life of me figure out the manual on how to do this!!

You may want to check the "pusher" tube-usually a 12ax7,on a tube amp they push the preamp signal into the power amp section-that happened to me one time when I owned a 5150,stuck a new one in and bam,it worked fine.

I have yet to figure that Midi thing out yet myself,but if you want the graphic eq and the fx loop on - lets say on the tube channel,make sure that the footswitch led's are lit and matching the same as the head then just hold down the tube button on the pedal until they start and then quit...
