Yes . Thanks. I tried that the other day and it was one of the valves,so I tightened up the retainer clip. I thought about getting a spring type retainer as well, to try.

Hi. I managed to sort out reverb problem. It was loose phono cables which connect reverb tank to amp chassis. They just needed pushing in.

I bought a used RG50TC a couple of weeks ago. I am very happy with it except for the reverb. This seems to fade after using the overdrive channels ,even after switching back to clean, the reverb can barely be heard. I find if I unplug the guitar lead then re-insert it the reverb comes back on...
