My first Gibby was the SG I still have. I got that one new back in 87.

In my early years as a player I was all about Gibson. The 80'***** me hard tho and I was way into Charvel, Jackson and ESP. Those guitars were not so easy to get in my area. Gibson, Fender and Ibanez were available... Jackson later on.

I still love that 60's slim taper neck. Even though this guitar has 24 frets in a way it was like putting on and old pair of shoes... instantly it felt right.

Cheers
Craig

For Gibsons, I have owned a Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop 1980, and a Mathais Jabs owned/Played Custom shop explorer, and then the last one was a Angus Young Signature SG. Now that one......had a FAST NECK!!

I hear you man,I love gibsons but not every one, they take some time to dig in and get acquainted with. That is a sweet looking stik!!!

Thanks Guys...

I still dislike single cut Les Paul's from a playing standpoint... tonally the are killer tho. I also like the 50's style V and not the other styles. Firebirds are OK but I'm not GAS'n for one.
For the most part it's SG's, LPDC, and V's that I like. They all sound great in there own right.
