I have a RM4 and RT2/50 and I'm trying to make them work with my Boss GT8 and I just can't seem to get what I want. I bought a Line Level Shifter to put the GT8 in 4 cable method and it just sounds awful. When I put in the series loop it sounds very thin and when I put it in the parallel loop, I get this very ugly comb filter-like effect wich souds very bad.
I would like to be able to put an OD and wah in front and time-based effects after and I can't get it to soud like I want. Anybody knows how to do that with good results? Or sould I just get back into stomps ($$$) or buy something more transparent like a GSP 1101?
