I've been dying to blend modules on my amp as well. I was hoping something like this would be possible with the E2 if we ever see it.

Most effective when using a light boost module in slot #1.
The modules are in series.
Maybe a matter of time we can welcome a post-equalizer module, like the Mesa Mark series, in the last slot or a boost module in the first slot.

or effects modules accessible through pedal controllers via jacks on the front panel of the module. allowing the possibility of inserting effects before or after the preamp and still be in the tube signal chain

When you switch a channel ON it doesn't switch the other channels OFF.
So you can 'stack' channels.

I wouldn't say that...I'm just personally unaware of a means to do so...I've played around with mine and without the MIDI capability I'm pretty sure it would need a mod...Although, the modders are smart dudes- there could be an inexpensive answer...Someone else may have something better for you...???...Wish I could help...

This is fantastic. So for the RM100 or RM4, you can use a MIDI controller to force all channels to be on at the same time?

For the amps not using MIDI guessing a modification to the amp itself or maybe footswitch?

I laughed so hard at the "don't cross streams!" I would tend to agree.. how insane is that gonna sound! Unless you want to replicate the sound of two amps stacking which might have an effect with a crunch and a higher gain. Two crazy gain channels though lookout![/img][/quote]

I can add that mixing modules together sounds really bad in most cases...Mixing different modules through different amps is bliss but modules in line with one another tend to cancel each others' benefits out...

Hmm, if the modules in the RM4 are truly in series, then having a true 6-gain stage 5150 tone should be possible :twisted:

Just use Bruce's level matching box and you can put them in series just like a boost pedal.
