Channel Switching on a RM50

Hey Guys,

I picked up a RM50 a few months ago and it the thing sounds great but there is a slight dropout when switching between channels. Is this normal for this amp? Is it a problem that should not be happening (hoping for this one)? Anyway I am using the Randall footswitch that came along with it when I picked it up used.

Any help would be great.

I have the same problem. I think it's a midi thing. I just try to tap the button as fast as possible and hope for the best.

I have a RM50. The channel switching on mine works pretty fast. I don't think it's midi switched, there's no DIN connector. The foot pedal I use is a simple push-on, push-off, SPST. However, it's not instantaneous, meaning, if you push it in the middle of a note, you'll hear it. Pat L.
