I've got a song recorded using my line 6 UX2 in reaper does anyone know how to convert it from a wave file to mp3 so I can post it on this forum?I've made the song using my chubracabra

I do have itunes but I don't know how to do it.If you could help with a play by play on how it's done that would be most helpful.I also would like to know the best way to upload the songs on this forum so you guys can hear the chubracabra clips i've done

In itunes, go to Advanced drop-down menu and click Create mp3.

A lot of people use soundclick.com to save their files to and create web pages for their music/band. From there you can copy and paste the web address to the song into the message box here on the forum. Others use websites that store your media data on a server. I believe you can copy/paste the web address of the song from those sites too.

Hope that helps.

I just downloaded a copy of "Switch" It's a great converter program that a few chaps in Austrailia threw together. I converted roughly 200 Wavs into MP3's. Works great, and REALLY easy to use.

Hey!

you can do it with Windows media player, and your audio editor ought to be able to do it as well. Usually there is an "export" choice in the File menu.

Good luck!

yeah I figured out how to do it using reaper and i've uploaded the songs onto soundclick but I need to learn how to put iton this forum. If you go on soundclick and look for walshinator666 or dogpound(canada) you should be able to hear it.
